General Inquiries
Fairness and Integrity
- Are your cards actually random?
100%! We employ Sun Microsystem's SecureRandom function for Java. Thorough testing and evaluation of the InterXpoker poker software by various third party auditing companies has found that:
There was no statistical bias in cards dealt as pocket cards.
There was no statistical bias in cards dealt to any of the board positions.
There were no statistical differences in the cards dealt to games involving experienced players and the cards dealt to games involving new players.
We have also a database over the expected value for all of the played real money hands at our site. Or you can view the list of the pocket cards ranked by value or profit under Expected Value Statistics.
You can also search for the results of each starting cards combination. You can also view a statistical analysis of 500,000 real money hands dealt in the Texas Hold'em poker game. You can find this information in the Poker School section under Card Stats.
If you remain unconvinced, there are links to the raw data (the hand histories) on the Poker School page, if you would like to conduct your own tests.
- Do your cards favor certain players?
Absolutely not! Our cards are checked and verified to be completely random, and since you do not play poker against the house, but other players, there is no reason why we would favor any player.
- Is it possible to predict the cards?
No! Our server sends out information only on a need-to-know basis, which means that there is no way to predict any coming cards or the other players' cards. The cards are not calculated until the very moment before they are sent out, so there is no way to know them in-advance (because they don't exist in-advance). All sent information is also heavily encrypted.
- Is there a minimum age limit to play at your site?
You have to be at least fully 18 years-old to play any of our games, regardless of whether the game involves real-money or play-money.

Introduction to the Basics
Accessing the Games
- What type of games do you offer at InterXpoker?
We have all of the most popular poker games here! The poker games we have include Texas Hold'em, 7-card Stud, Omaha, 3 card poker. We have no limit, pot limit and fixed limit play, along with single and multi table tournaments.
- What occurs if I am disconnected from a game?
When you are playing on the Internet, there is always a risk of getting disconnected. This is not always dependent upon your modem speed. If the connection between your ISP and our server is momentarily dropped, you may be disconnected from the game, but not the internet. Unfortunately this is something that is beyond our control.
We try to reduce the effects as much as possible, for example, by transferring players on auto-pilot mode in tournaments or providing "All-in Protection" in poker ring (regular) games. You may read more about these under the section, "Software and Connections".
- Are my friend and I able to play from the same computer?
Yes, you may. But, for security reasons, we allow only one interXpoker account for each player and one real-money account for every household.

Deposit Bonuses
- How To Earn Bonus Money When Playing Poker
Once poker bonuses are transferred into the Poker Free Money account, the Free money becomes Real Money by earning the required number of poker bonus points.
For ring game play, poker bonus points are awarded on the following scale. 0.07 Player points are awarded for every every $0.10 (ten cents) paid in rake. So if there is $3 (three dollars) in rake, then you earn 2.1 poker bonus points for that hand. (0.07 points/$0.10) * $3 = 2.1 points
For tournament play, poker bonus points are awarded based on the following scale. For every $1 (one dollar) in tournament fees, you receive 5 (five) poker bonus points. So, if you register and play in a $20 + $2 tournament - you are awarded 10 (ten) poker bonus points - five for each dollar in tournaments fees paid.
- How Poker Sign Up Bonuses Work
When you make an initial deposit in the "My Account" page, a "Free money" amount will be credited to your Cashier Free Money account.
To earn your "Free money" in poker, you may transfer up to the available amount from the "Cashier Free Money" account to the "Poker Free Money" account*. The bonus will now be listed under the Poker Bonus Status section and will show the number of points required and the expiry date (30 days) that the bonus must be cleared by.
